In the off-season, I outlined a checklist of sorts for Deandre Ayton to unlock his full potential. Did he just tick every box in his last 4 games and sprinkle a little extra aggression on top?
It’s been hard to wrap my head around his play recently. The stats are one thing but the aggression is what has me most excited FOR SURE. I feel like when he has those extra motivators (national TV games, playing against a top tier guy like Jokic) he tends to find that extra gear. Hopefully with the team being an actual contender for a playoff run, he has that extra motivation more often. Also the Trump looking up gif was perfect and made me lol
Yeah I tend to agree. Without sounding like a dick, I did see this coming because as I'd written about a few months back - he'd flashed all of this and just didn't put it all together. But the aggression is definitely brand new, so I had to point that out as well.
