So long and thanks for all the fish! The suns end is kind of consistent with the theme of the past 5 years or so- "no, you can't have good things." Trump, Scott Morrison, covid, covid, covid. Never too high, never too low.
But I'm grateful to be a witness to the suns and to you over that time. To share your endless lamentations and analysis and comparisons on who should start at pg- okobo, Melton, cannon or Mike james...small ball saric...Baynes/Ayton twin towers, Archie Goodwin hive, big sauce...tj warren enigma....so much perfect esoterica and humanity...thank you for being a guiding constellation in the suns firmament for all of that.
Wishing you every success in your chosen endeavour. You're all class and you do the suns and Australia proud.
Thank you for taking the time to read my work & also share this comment. Really appreciate you sharing & I'm very proud of all the work over that time. Go Suns!
Sorry to see the newsletter end. Your content has really helped me to understand basketball and the reasons why the Suns win or lose. Most stuff out there is a hot take that doesn't give any insight on what actually is happening and why on the court. I'd like to see you get picked up formally in a paid position with a site or publication here in AZ or nationally to cover the Suns. Thanks for the time and effort even though it sometimes can be thankless.
Thank you Charles. I am not closing the door on some sort of work in basketball going forward but it felt like the right time to put my efforts into something that was more worthwhile going forward.
Hell of a run, my man. Thanks for all the incredible work over the years. You've certainly made me a smarter Suns fan. Wish we had a happier ending but appreciate all you've done! Best of luck with whatever is next.
Your work will be missed my friend. Appreciate all the time and energy you’ve put in, we’re all disappointed but you’ve helped educate everyone that’s read this newsletter. Live life mate, thanks again
This was my favorite newsletter. I'm a big Suns fan but I only used to read national media before. I always kinda "look down" on local media cause the quality seemed kinda meh when I read/watch it. I also can't find any Suns news when the team was bad, I even ended up subscribing to the Athletic just to get Suns content from Gina Mizell.
You're content came around when she left. My favorite content is great storytelling or longform and analytical which you provided in spades. Shifted my perspective on how awesome "local" content could be, I even ended up subscribing to other Suns only podcasts.
Yours was one of my most waited articles to read cause it made me learn a lot about the game on a deeper but easy to understand level.
The season didn't end as we expected and now this, but I appreciate all the good that happened and don't take it for granted.
Thanks Devon. I really appreciate that you were around from the very beginning and always left some love on my Newsletters. That wasn't missed. Thanks for sharing with me.
Although, I just started using Twitter somewhat recently and only discovered you last year, I am glad to read and listened to all of your output. Thank you for all of the hardwork.

Thanks Shaheen! Will always remember the time fondly. Especially because of the people like yourself that I met along the way.
